Journalize Original Series Mirror OF THE SKY Fluorescence Luminous Ink
Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is the largest salt lake in the world and also one of the highest altitude salt lakes. Due to the special geographical environment, after the river water quickly evaporated, only the salt remained. After thousands of years of accumulation, thick salt was formed. Every year during the rainy season, there will be accumulated water everywhere in the salt lake, and the lake will form a mirror. Under a clear sky, the lake can reflect the sky, creating an infinite mirror that unites heaven and earth. It is called the "Mirror of the Sky."
Our paper is like the earth. After filling your pen with the ink, you could draw a salt lake on the earth. However, the salt lake itself will not become an endless mirror. It needs the illumination of the sky to create an endless mirror. Using the white light UV flashlight, the ink will change from light gray to a bluish color, just like the salt lake reflecting the sky.
MIRROR OF THE SKY is a luminous shimmering (blue shimmer) ink. We recommend you to use it in two ways. When the shimmer powder is precipitated and the shimmer powder is not shaken, the ink will appear in light gray color, and it will turn into light blue color when exposed to UV light. If you shake the shimmer powder up, the ink color will turn into blue instead of light gray. In addition, if you feel that the ink color is too light and you want something more bluish, you can mix the blue ink which is included in the box set.
We also put a lot of effort into the packaging design and printing.
Inspired by Tuz Gölü Sky Mirror in Turkey, we printed a layer of anti-counterfeiting invisible ink at the sunset position, creating a looming effect of the sunset. If you look at the box, there is no text on the box at all, but if you illuminate it with the UV light, you will find the invisible text on the box! With the circular cut of the outer envelope, it creates the effect of peeking into the entire sunset sky mirror.
